1. To unite the UC community - for this site to be the go to spot to find what you are looking for whether you are a doctor or patient even if it is located on another website.  This is the first step in our plan to take awareness of UC Care to the next level.

2. To be a place for patients to have their needs heard, whether it be that they need a doctor who is close to them or questions they have about UC Care.

3. For it to be a tool for patients to use when refering others as well as where patients can learn how to be better patient advocates. 

3. To be a tool for doctors to use in order to promote their clinic with features such as creating a profile, and submitting articles.  This is also beneficial for patients who will feel more comfortable with the clinic and the doctor, because they are able to read all of the doctors forum posts.
