In the last several decades, chiropractic has a whole has made tremendous advancements in what it is able to offer the public today. There are now over 250 different Chiropractic procedures available to the public. Every one of them has produced miracle stories equal to Louella's. These advancements in chiropractic procedures have happened quietly without applause because of the medial mindset of the media. Even after 100 years of miracles stories resulting from chiropractic care, it is still almost unheard of for the media to cover a chiropractic breakthrough as they so readily will cover a medical breakthrough. But the NACUCC applauds all chiropractors for the tremendous work they are doing to bring non-invasive healing to the public. Chiropractic works. However, we are finding consistently that not every procedure will work for every individual. Like many others, we tried one type of chiropractic procedure and when it didn't work as well as we expected, we wrote off ALL chiropractic as a whole. We though that was the only chiropractic procedure available. The reality was that Chiropractic care was the answer. We just had to find the one procedure out of the 250 that worked for us. We found it and we want others to know about it as well. Therefore, we are simply educating the public about precision Upper Cervical Chiropractic because this is the little-known procedure that turned our lives around.

There are at least 9 different types of Upper Cervical procedures all of which have proven to be effective to one degree or another in removing nerve interference at the brainstem area. As an organization it is our primary goal to educate you about all the UC procedures that are available and the doctors in your state we are aware of who practice them. Then, you can make an educated choice as to which procedure and which UC doctor you feel is best for you.

The founders of the National Awareness Campaign for Upper Cervical Care have personally experienced some of these UC procedures, but not all. The description of the procedure in our tapes and literature may differ from the procedure you actually experience. The equipment used, the force of the adjustment itself, and the skill of the doctor will vary with each clinic. There may not be a chiropractor in your geographic location that does the exact type of procedure we experienced, but there may be someone close by that uses a similar technique. We encourage you, prior to getting under care, to discuss with the chiropractor the type of procedure he uses, the way the procedure feels, and the number of check-ups he/she requires, if it varies in any way from our literature and tapes and the reason why. Your doctor's protocol and procedure may work just as well for you as our doctor's technique and protocol has worked for us.

So, though we cannot directly endorse every UC technique, we do endorse the process of precision analysis and correction tlas and or axis misalignments. As in any profession, some Upper Cervical doctors will be more skilled than others. Once you get under care, if you do not feel you are getting the results you want, we highly encourage you to try another Upper Cervical doctor on our list. It is vital that your atlas is corrected completely so that it is not interfering with nerve flow from the brain stem to the body. It's the first step we should all take in preventive as well as crisis health care. Finding the UC doctor who is right for you and your individual situation is the key to your health and your future.
